JANUARY FAVOURITES

HELLO!

Last day of January: Time for a favourites post!

OPI - HEARTS & TARTS

It is a very good clear polish with a little sheen in it. I loved it this month.

DIOR - 5 COULEURES IRIDESCENT IN PETAL SHINE

Of course my Mini-Dior-Palette is featured in my favourites post. I love it. I think this is the one product thats always going to be one of my favourites.

CATRICE - CREAM TO POWDER BLUSH

This creamy powder is so lovely and turns into a powdery finish. I really like this, especially in winter.

MAC - BRONZING POWDER IN BRONZE

This product is just amazing, I apply it every single day.
I love that it has shimmer in it but you don't have a disco-ball face after applying it.

MAC -  SELECT COVER-UP CONCEALER

I actually got this a few days ago. But I have been loving it so much, that I had to mention it in my January favourites.
Really good concealer, you have to try it!

GARNIER - MIRACLE SKIN PERFECTOR

I wanted to try out some BB creams and came across this one. I really like it because it feels very very soft on the skin and I absolutely love the coverage. It is just perfect in combination with my MAC concealer.
I was also impressed by the colour. Normally I can't use any drugstore make-up because they never have the right colour for me. But this product is just a perfect match!

BIOTHERM - LAIT COROPOREL

I have been using this product so often. Normally I am really lazy by moisturizing my body but since I got this product I did it more often. I just looooove the smell of it and how it leaves the skin.

TAG: FORGOTTEN LOVE-PRODUCTS

Hey everyone!

Today I want to post another TAG.
This TAG is very different from a lot of others. It's not about favourite or most used products, it's more about products you used to love and now you don't really use them anymore because you "forgot" them or simply found something similar that you like more at the moment. Anyways, I found a view products that I "forgot" to use:

Brushes

This smashbox foundation brush is my first "forgotten" product. I used it a long time to apply my foundation but now I like mac's 187 stippling brush better.
My application tool changes often, because sometimes I think, that the finish looks nicer with a foundation brush, sometimes with a stippling brush and sometimes even when I apply foundation with my fingers.

Blushes/Bronzers

DREAM MOUSSE blush - Peach satin - Mabelline

This was my first "not-powder-blush" and I used it before I got my mac cream blush.
I like the texture of cream blushes better than of mousse blushes. Although, the finish of mabelline's blush is really beautiful.

Eyeshadows

Those two CLINIQUE palettes were my first high end make-up products. I got them for babysitting and was soooo happy about them.

Lipsticks/Lipglosses

M.A.C. Lipglass Viva Glam Cindy
M.A.C. Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick
BOBBI BROWN

I really liked all of those colours and I still like them but I simply started to use different shades.

Nail-Polishs

August, September, October - in those months I loved to use this nail-polish. I really should
start using it again because it's so pretty.

Essie - In Stiches

Scents

YSL -Parisienne

This used to be my favourite scent in the world but now I can't use it anymore because my boyfriend doesn't like it. :(

JIL SANDER - SPORT for women

This is one of my all time favourite perfumes. I ran out of it and re-bought it, but I said to myself you wait until christmas and then you are allowed to use it. Because I got some new perfumes I still didn't open the new Jil Sander one.

I really hope, that you likes the TAG. Let me know what your "forgotten products are"!

ZUCCHINI-PASTA

HELLO EVERYONE!

Today I wanted to share with you one of my favourite dishes.
I looooooove pasta in general, I love the quick and easy preperation, the taste and the variety of any pasta.

Here is one delicious, fast and easy recipe:

Ingredients For 4 Portions:

2-3 Tomatoes
1 Zucchini
1 Onion
3 Garlic Cloves
3 Table Spoons Olive Oil
100 g Ham
Salt, Pepper
1/8 l Bouillon
1 Cup Crème Fraîche
1.5 Table Spoon Thyme

Step One:

Peel the tomatoes and cut them into pieces as big as on the picture.

Actually the recipe says that you should cut them into 1 cm big cubes.
I like them better if they are bigger, because I love to bit on a tomato.

Try out what you like better: Bigger or smaller pieces?

 Step Two:

Cut the ham into small pieces.

Here you can be creative to: if you like the ham to be bigger cut it bigger or even cut it into stripes.

Step Three:

Cut the zucchini into medium pieces.

I like to have the zucchini a little bit smaller that the tomatoes.
But again try out what you like the best!

Step Four:

Cut the onion and the garlic cloves.
They should be very fine.

Step Five:

Put olive oil into a pot and add onion an garlic cloves when the oil is hot.
Toast the ingredients.

Add ham, then zucchini and then tomatoes.

After a view minutes you can add the bouillon and the the crème fraîche.

Last but not least spice the sauce with pepper, salt and thyme.

Step Six:

Cook the pasta!

Add the pasta into the pot with boiling salt-water and stir occasionally.

Last Step: Food Arranging

Be creative and dress your plate and then of course: bon appétit!

I hope you like this dish as much as I do! :)

CLARET AND THE SNOW

HELLO

Today I wore one of my new favourite pieces: Claret Leather Pants.
I got them at the H&M sale and love them. You can wear leather pants very cool, chic or even casual.
I decided to wear them casual today.

CARDIGAN: H&M
BLOUSE: Marc by Marc Jacobs
PANTS: H&M
SHOES: Bruno Premi
BAG: coccinelle

This necklace is my favourite at the moment. I got it some weeks ago at H&M and have been loving it since then. I have a lot of grey pullovers, shirts and blouses and I think it looks so good to pair grey with silver-greyish statement-necklaces.

I hope you liked my outfit.

PRODUCT REVIEW: TOO FACED SHADOW INSURANCE

Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Hey everyone, today I wanted to do a product review. The Too Faced Shadow insurance is actually a really hyped product. When I first started watching youtube videos I heard a lot of it. On my Mediterranean cruise I got the primer in Palma de Mallorca. Since then I have been using it all the time.

At first I was really excited to use it, but my first impression was pretty bad.
In the tube the actual primer was not mixed together with the oily liquid, so this liquid always came out of the tube. I figured out that I had to mix the fluids together in the tube. I roll the tube between my fingers and knead the primer.

Since the moment I had recognized this method I have been loving this product. It holds the eyeshadows perfect in place all day long and it is such a wonderful base. I also like the fact that the primer is matte and not shimmering, so you can also use it underneath matte shadows.

TAG: NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

MY NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

Every year the same: a ton of New Year's resolutions but we'll never stick to them?

Anyways, this year I thought about my resolutions very precise.

1) Remove make-up every single night, no matter how tired I am!

Yes! This is so important. Sometimes I am just to lazy to remove my make-up.
I go and brush my teeth and go straight to bed... And then I am angry if I get pimples all over my face!!!!

2) Go regularly to the gym!

Since this year I am member of a gym but I only was a view times.
I have to go regularly now, because: my parents have to pay the membership and I want to get fit!

3) Drink at least 3 liters of water each day!

I have my problems with drinking enough. I only drink something when I am thirsty or when I eat something. I know this is not very healthy and because of this I want to change my drinking-habits.

4) Blog regularly!

This is one of my biggest resolutions.  I really want to post a blogpost every day or minimum every other day. I know this won't happen all the time because of school. But I'll try my best to be consequent.

DAILY FAVOURITES

MY DAILY FAVOURITES!

We all have a lot of make-up products in a ton of different variations, colours, textures, however, I personally always come back to my favourite prouducts.
Why? Because, I love them and tehy work really good for me.

I know it could be that one or even more products won't work as good for you as it did on me, but that's just very logical: Everyone has a different skin-typ, never forget that!

To start of:

I like primers, because they really help to hold all the make-up and eyecolours in place the whole day long.

For my face I have been currently using a cheaper primer from my local drugstore. It's by the brand cartice and so far I really like it. But I'm still testing a little bit. :)

I swear by the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I first got this about 2 years ago and I have been loving it since the.

This miniature Dior Eyeshadow Palette is one of my favourite idioms ever. Actually this was a present for my mother but I tried it once and I loved it so much so I kept it. I know I shouldn't do that, but I LOOOOVE IT!!!

I am in love with my bronzer and cream blush from MAC as well.

There's a funny story behind this cream blush:
Once I walked to the mac-counter with one of my best friends and we talked to the nicest mac-lady ever. Then she tried out a view products on us.
Suddenly she came with one bold pink and one bold orange coloured blush.
We said OMG this is to bold, but the she  applied it so lovely on our cheeks and we loved it.
Since then we had been using it everyday.
The bad thing is: It was limited edition :(

Those are my everyday shadows:

essence - creamy shadow in coffee cream

mac - yoghurt

INSPIRATION WINTERWONDERLAND

INSPIRATION WINTERWONDERLAND

I looooove winter.
Winter is one of my favourite seasons. I love the cozy pullovers, nice colours and of course I adore how the world looks. Everything has a very magical and romantic feel.

I love to go skiing and tobogganing, but I also like to sit next to the tiled stove with a cup of hot chocolate or jasmine tea reading a good book.

I enjoy to sit inside and watch the snowflakes falling down as much as walking while it snows.  For me winter is a wonderful season that turns the world into a wonderland.

I am really inspired by the nice and cool colours.
Those two cute baby dogs remind me of a very soft pullover that keeps you warm.

This little baby fox has got the pretty rusty colours on its skin. I love this colour for winter.

The deer is just beautiful. I like how nobel and elegant it looks and moves.

GOLD, SPARKLE, SILVER, GLITTER - LOVE

For night outs or dinners I am very inspired by those holiday lights and sparklers. I like to wear clothes with sequins, glitter or golden or even silver details.

Do you like winter as much as I do?
